Catalog

The catalog is a listing of all the data files contained in the CMSFIL Library. It has been created to help each company maintain their disk space as efficiently as possible.

It will indicate:

•   If Check Reconciliation processes have been completed.

•   If union files are being held for excessive periods of time.

•   If Copy Job is being used without regard to unused Job Cost records.

•   If selections are being aborted.

•   If a file reorganization is necessary.

In the beginning, all customers need help in identifying these situations, however, with scheduled clean up, they become easily recognized and the disk space will operate more efficiently.
